November 17th

Carolina’s Notes
I woke up and got showered and dressed. I wanted to complete the rest of my tasks on my To-Do List and since I skipped showering yesterday I wasted NO time. We are now at the point that getting back to work to earn money is a necessity. Today’s plan for Tony & I is continue working on our businesses. We are self-employed and it takes more hours being self-employed. I am enjoying being able to stay at home and complete some of my work.

In order to complete some of my work, I had to run to the store to complete some of my work because I needed some office supplies. Tony came with me and I enjoyed his company. Once we arrived home I quickly completed my task. We hung out in Harry (RV) until we decided to go to the movie 2012. I thought the movie was good and I would recommend 2012. I had also wanted to go to Bingo. Carefree Manor RV Resort hosts Bingo Night every Tuesday and I wanted to attend. I felt this was a good avenue to offer and present that I am a Mary Kay Consultant. Tony was willing to accompany me; he really is a good sport about my endeavors! We enjoyed ourselves despite not winning any games. We weren’t satisfied to stay in for the rest of the night. We went to find pizza and we found some and took it home. Now you know we couldn’t come home without ice cream so we bought ice cream too. We relaxed the rest of the night until bed. I went to sleep with a belly full of food, safe and sound, with Tony so I couldn’t ask for anything more. I am VERY grateful for all that I have.

Tony’s Notes
We just kind of hung out at home today and completed tasks; like Carolina states above. I did start to get follow up phone calls from prospective employers and recruiters.

I had a phone interview for a full time opportunity in Atlanta, GA. I do have an interest; although, it would mean a permanent relocation. It would be a good career move; however, I still have a strong desire to do short term contracts that last anywhere from 2 months to 8 months.

My hopes are that we would be able to take four to six week road trips in between engagements. Either that or I need to practice what I have learned from the book, “The Four Hour Work Week” by Timothy Ferriss. It would require us to develop a product, test market it, and make small investments to get it marketed. Then, of course, we would need to outsource most of the work.

We went to the movie a little bit early in the afternoon. It was a good movie, but very intense ‘end of the world’ kind of stuff. Afterwards, we went to the RV Park’s clubhouse and played bingo. I have never played bingo before; at least not since I was a kid. I was hoping to win some money, but each time I was one number from yelling bingo, someone else got it. Carolina and I are like kids here because everyone is older seniors and retired. However, hanging out with them playing bingo was quite fun.
