Carolina’s Notes
We woke up and exercised at the gym. After our workout we went for a dip in the pool and hot tub. We took showers and got dressed. We desperately needed to wash clothes so between the two of us we got our laundry clean. Tony started calking the RV because we have leaks and it is recommended to calk once a year. It was a necessary evil. I helped as much as a wife can with completing manly chores with the hubby. Once that task was completed for the day, we went into town to get our car washed. Matt Malibu was filthy and we were out of energy to wash by hand. We wondered into one of the local libraries so we could update our blog and Facebook entries. On the way home, I asked Tony to stop by a movie theater to see if Love Happens was playing and I was in luck. We found a Dollar Show and so it worked out great. We split some pasta at Pizza Hut before the movie. While in Pizza Hut, I was able to catch some of the World Series. The Yankees were up by several runs and I had a feeling that I saw the best of the World Series so my focus was on getting to Love Happens on time. I had the best of both worlds; I was able to watch some baseball and watch a chick flick. I enjoyed the movie very much! It drove home how important it is to tell the people you love how important they are to you. It needs to be a daily ritual because you never know what tomorrow will bring.
On the way home, I asked Tony to pick up some ice cream. We arrived home and settled in for the night. We ate ice cream and watched TV until bed. It was a good day.
Tony’s Notes
It was a great day. We got in our cardio and swim for thing. I got the laundry started, and Carolina finished it up while I started calking the RV. I was able to get the roof area completed, and then we worked together on the left front window.
I had to gain some experience calking around the windows, because it takes only a small bead of calk that you then force into a small seam around the window. Calking has always been a messy job for me and I was determined to do this cleanly.
I bought small tubes of calk instead of buying the normal size tube that you put into a caulk gun. It worked out much better, and I was able to move slowly enough to not make a mess.
After a few hours of calking, it was time to call it quits for this day. I enjoyed getting into town and going to the movies. I really like this area, every day is Sunny and high 80’s.
