Carolina’s Notes
My hope for today’s start is to get up and exercise by running Sunset Beach. We got up and exercised as I hoped. We walked all around the campground then the trail to the beach then ran the beach. When we were finished I asked Tony if he felt like grabbing the kayak and kayaking on Sunset Beach. He was game so that’s what we did. I felt I should get wet and possibly dirty before taking a shower so I thought it was a good plan. We had a blast!! After the fun filled event of kayaking, I got cleaned up. We also wanted to get the little bit of wet laundry done plus watch sunset at the dunes. We ventured out to the Horsfall Dunes. It was beautiful and the beach was right on the Pacific Ocean. Alas, it was too cold to sit and watch sunset so we decided to catch a movie. We saw ‘Couples Retreat.’ The movie was a hit; we enjoyed it immensely! On the way back to Harry, I spotted a laundromat. We did the laundry so mission was accomplished…yahoo! I even convinced Tony to stop at DQ to pick up an Extreme Chocolate Blizzard. We got home to Harry and put in a DVD and ate our treat then went to bed. We were both beaming of joy of the blessed fun filled day we experienced.
