Carolina’s Notes
Today Tony and I got up at 9:00 a.m. (PST) later than expected if we are to catch a ferry and accomplish all of the sight seeing he wants to finish. Again, we stayed up too late to get that early start. We threw on clothes and walked to Tully’s Coffee House to complete some of our Internet duties and journalize along with getting in some exercise. Tony remarked that he had to move his body and hoping not to sabotage our weight reduction efforts. The coffee house was jammed packed and it took Tony & I about fifteen minutes just to grab a table. I enjoyed the coffee and the coffee cake. I even enjoyed the walk to the coffee house despite having to walk on the high walkway that directed us over the highway entrance and exit ramps. I hope the walk back proves as successful.
Well, the walk back was as successful…yahoo!! We got home and pretty much flaked out. We were both lethargic. I flipped trying to find out Detroit scores and highlights especially from the Lions win since December 2007. We decided that since it was Monday night and we don’t get ESPN at the campground that Tony would take me to a sport bar. So we took a soak in the hot tub and showered then went to ‘Sideline Sports Bar.’ Unfortunately, Monday Night Football had already started. I forgot that it starts an hour earlier now and the time difference wasn’t a factor. We enjoyed ourselves but didn’t stay to the end. We got home then Tony ran out to pick up my DQ contraband. We stayed up too late again let our food digest. We finally turned in and it took me awhile to fall asleep.
I felt bad for Tony because he wanted to see and do so much more than what we’ve done the past few days. I’m lethargic and I think it’s from going to bed late and eating out and late. We both are trying to get back to going to bed at a reasonable hour as well as fixing our own food and finally exercise. I keep telling Tony that I’m a work in progress.
Tony’s Notes
Not much to say about the day. After all, it is not all vacationing and sightseeing. We have our motorhome, and it, for all practical purposes is our Home. We just had a nice day in our neighborhood. We walked, had coffee, and walked. I enjoyed it. I also enjoy the RV Park’s pool because they keep the water warm. Monday night football was fun; we drank beer and ate pizza. Nothing wrong with this day; it may be true that I would have liked to do more in this area. However, my original plans were that we would come from the Yellowstone National Parks area, and go straight to Olympic National Park. I never really had made plans to stay in the Seattle area along the way, so it has been fantastic from my perspective. The more I see, the more there is to see.
