September 13th - Tequila Sunrise

Carolina’s Notes
We woke up feeling rough from last night’s dinner and cocktails. We decided not to lie around so we took a bike ride into downtown Cody. We really didn’t do anything. Just road around then ate at Wendy’s then came home. We planned out trip to Yellowstone and got to bed.

Tony’s Notes
We did wake up feeling a little rough. The Mexican restaurant we dined at the night before, the one Carolina mentioned in the previous post, included a pitcher of Margarita’s.

When I ordered a pitcher, I assumed it would be a small pitcher that the two of us would polish off with dinner. However, it was a large pitcher, and I remember we were both working hard to finish it because we did not want it to go to waste.

The bike ride was a definite plus, it helped us burn off some keytones from the alcohol. It was a somewhat un-eventful bike ride around town. We had some photos printed at Walgreen’s, scope things out during the daylight hours. The pleasant part was riding back to the KOA.

We were about four miles from town, and it was mostly up hill. So, I had the most intense cardio workout that I had had since we left Michigan. I needed it.
